The Kotak-Kotak Cake Dish - Natural

At the center of every celebration table, the Kotak-Kotak Cake Dish steals the spotlight as a striking wooden cake dish pedestal. Its grid-like pattern on the pedestal base inspired its Indonesian name, "Kotak-Kotak," meaning checkered. The design features a shallow, bowl-like dish set atop a gracefully tapered cylindrical base.

Desserts are always the highlight of special moments. This piece beautifully presents a single cake, an assortment of pastries, or delicate tarts, while its shallow lip keeps crumbs and small treats from rolling away. Beyond desserts, it doubles as an elegant fruit pedestal, adding charm above your kitchen table.

Handmade from teak wood, each piece carries subtle imperfections and natural color variations that enhance its authentic, one-of-a-kind character. Teak is naturally resilient and durable, though occasional food-grade oil helps preserve its graceful grain for years to come.
