The Sizali Carpet - Natural - 200
by Amare, Amare Studio
At 200 cm in diameter, The Sizali Carpet serves as a full-scale living room rug offering expansive floor coverage. Its continuous concentric pattern, woven from raw sisal, spirals outward from the center to soften rigid rectangular layouts and bring fluid movement to your space.
Feel the grounding, serene atmosphere it brings to any room. Place it partially beneath a queen or king bed for a textured step-off zone, or set it under a long-slung sofa arrangement to anchor a coffee table with quiet confidence.
Woven by hand from natural material, The Sizali Carpet displays subtle differences, slight imperfections, and variations in colour, each a mark of authentic craftsmanship. Vacuum regularly with a brush attachment, or clean gently with a soft brush to remove dust and debris.

The Idea
The Sizali Carpet - Natural - 200 was drawn for The Linen Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.
The Designer
Amare works only with fibres that will age well — linen, hemp, undyed wool — and refuses anything that looks worse after a decade than it did on the first day.
Colour comes from madder, indigo and walnut, so no two runs are identical.
