The Huge Pouffe - Natural

This pouffe is exactly as the title suggests: huge! With a diameter of 100cm, this beautiful seagrass woven design piece will add multiple extra seatings to any room.
Due to its limited height, you can use it anywhere from under or next to your coffee table to besides the couch. As a cherry on the cake, the top part of this pouffe includes an inspiring pattern that lifts up the design.
Handmade from natural materials, each piece features gentle imperfections and tonal shifts as quiet signatures of its unique soul.

The Idea
The Huge Pouffe - Natural was drawn for The Duna Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.
The Designer
Eddy Roothaert spends more time with suppliers than with drawings. If a timber cannot be traced, it does not enter a Studio Bizar collection.
That discipline sets the boundary the rest of the design work happens inside.
