The Abaca Jelly Fish Pendant - Natural - M
by Aède Studios, Aède
Let your space drift into a calm, airy mood with the Abaca Jelly Fish Pendant. Handwoven from natural abaca grass, this light, flowing shade captures movement and softness, echoing the gentle curves found in nature.
Its layered texture and sculptural form cast playful shadows, bringing warmth and quiet character to any room. Hang it above a dining table, in a reading corner, or in a cozy nook to introduce a sense of ease and organic elegance.
This piece is offered as a standalone shade, allowing you to choose the ceiling or plug‑in fitting that suits your setup. Because each pendant is crafted by hand from natural abaca, subtle variations in colour or shape are expected and contribute to its unique charm.
This product is designed for indoor use only. Outdoor use, even in covered areas, may cause damage due to humidity or weather conditions and is not covered by warranty. Any images showing outdoor use are for styling purposes only.

The Idea
The Abaca Jelly Fish Pendant - Natural - M was drawn for The Lumen Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.

The Designer
Aède Studios treat a lamp as an object first and a light source second. Their pendants read as forms in daylight and only reveal their purpose after dark.
The collaboration with Studio Bizar produced a run of woven shades made with makers in Bali, each one signed by the weaver.
