Safari

The Idea
A table is the one piece of furniture a household argues over. Safari was drawn to end the argument: one surface, honest thickness, no veneer anywhere.
The stone tops are cut from single slabs, so the veining runs uninterrupted across the whole plane.

The Designer
Pascale Pelsmaekers designs from inside the studio, which means a prototype can be argued about in the morning and rebuilt by the afternoon.
She also shoots most of the catalogue, so the pieces are photographed by someone who knows exactly where to look.
The Safari Collection
Tables and case goods in solid teak and travertine. Safari is the collection that holds everything else up.
