A cup of coffee and a plate of delicate treats sit beautifully atop The Fusuma Coffee Table, our artisanal center table for the living room. It naturally becomes a focal point, its fluid circular form softly breaking up the linear lines of a modern living space.
At 80 cm in diameter, it's the ideal anchor piece for spacious sectional sofas, couches, or floor cushions. Featuring a striking three-legged base, The Fusuma Coffee Table pairs beautifully with its smaller counterpart for nesting or layering, creating a dynamic, multi-level centerpiece.
Celebrate the art of craftsmanship in its minor imperfections, subtle color shifts, and grain variations. To preserve its golden-yellow hue, a simple oiling or sealing safeguards its original handcrafted essence. Dust every surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

The Idea
The Fusuma Coffee Table - L was drawn for The Safari Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.
The Designer
Pascale Pelsmaekers designs from inside the studio, which means a prototype can be argued about in the morning and rebuilt by the afternoon.
She also shoots most of the catalogue, so the pieces are photographed by someone who knows exactly where to look.
