Its organic shape and layered texture evoke the quiet beauty of ocean life, creating a warm, calming glow when paired with your chosen bulb. Perfect for cultivating a natural mood in living rooms or cozy indoor corners, this piece offers a gentle balance of nature and artistry. The lampshade arrives without electrical wiring, allowing you to select the ceiling or plug-in fitting best suited to your space.
Handwoven from natural materials, each piece carries subtle differences in weave, shape, and tone, details that make it feel wonderfully personal. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
To achieve the voluminous look shown in our images, please reshape the grass fibers using steam or gentle manual styling. This quick shaping is a standard part of the product setup process and ensures the best display.

Technical Specifications

The Idea
The Abaca Jelly Fish Pendant - Natural - S was drawn for The Lumen Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.

The Designer
Aède Studios treat a lamp as an object first and a light source second. Their pendants read as forms in daylight and only reveal their purpose after dark.
The collaboration with Studio Bizar produced a run of woven shades made with makers in Bali, each one signed by the weaver.
