The Macrame Fishbone Keychain - Cream
by ASAÏ
Light to carry yet beautifully substantial, The Macrame Fishbone Keychain is an ocean seashell keychain that delights the eye with its soft cream palette. Genuine seashells and wooden beads are woven tightly into a symmetrical fishbone pattern, finished with a generous cotton tassel that adds graceful texture and a gentle, rhythmic sway.
Beyond its beauty, The Macrame Fishbone Keychain makes finding your keys in a large bag effortlessly easy. Its sturdy metal clip offers versatile styling; wear it as a keychain or repurpose it as a bag charm on a tote or backpack for an instant coastal touch.
Handcrafted from natural materials, each piece holds its own subtle variations, quiet marks of authenticity and artisan care. Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth to clean. Keep away from moisture to protect the cotton fibers and preserve its beauty over time.

The Idea
The Macrame Fishbone Keychain - Cream was drawn for The Harbour Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.

The Designer
ASAÏ are interested in the point at which a craft process becomes a production process without losing the hand.
Their baskets and vessels are made to a pattern, but the pattern is held by a person, not a machine.
