Teak wood always varies in tone, colour and pattern. Each piece features gentle imperfections and tonal shifts as quiet signatures of its unique soul. To maintain its warmth and rich tone, simply apply a light coat of oil periodically.

Dimensions are nominal and vary by up to 10 mm, as each piece is finished by hand.
Care & Maintenance
Dust with a dry cloth. Re-oil once a year, or whenever the surface starts to look dry.
Avoid standing water and prolonged direct sunlight.

The Idea
The Othonoi Dining Chair was drawn for The Hardy Collection — which meant working inside the collection's rules before anything else: one material family, honest thickness, and no detail that exists only to be looked at.
The prototype went through the workshop three times. What survived is the version where nothing further could be taken away without the piece stopping working.
The Designer
Agence Volta look to the fittings of factory life — bench stops, clamp handles, cable runs — and bring them indoors at a scale that suits a living room.
Nothing is decorative for its own sake. Every visible fixing does something.
